Production Assistant

Bedford, NH

As a Production Assistant with our company, you will be responsible for maintaining the ongoing production of products while maintaining a clean, friendly environment.

A Production Assistant plays a critical role in the production of our products. This position consists of two crucial points of contact in the product production cycle. It is the first and last point of contact for finished goods before being boxed, stored, and shipped to end users. This position entails working knowledge of product manufacturing formulas, packaging, and quality control measures. This position also includes inventory control, product rotation according to expiration dates, lot tracking, and traceability, as well as stocking shelves and assisting in other departments as needed.

The role calls for unfailing product focus, verbal fluency, teamwork, and collaboration within all levels of management and staff, a high regard for ethics, and strong organizational awareness. Wholistic Pet Organics provides premium, natural supplements to organizations and individuals worldwide while adhering to the highest quality standards. Position Responsibilities:

  • Accurately weigh raw materials and finished goods
  • Properly use machinery to accomplish the job
  • Accurately apply labels to finished goods
  • Inspect all raw ingredients and finished goods for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain an organized, clean work area with an emphasis on safety to meet company standards.
  • Maintain communication between team members and management to ensure tasks are understood and goals are met.
  • Help production team members in accomplishing production goals.
  • Be able to lift 55lbs. repeatedly.
  • Accurately track inventory and alert management to levels
  • Maintain legible and accurate paperwork
  • Perform all other duties as needed.

Finance & Administrative Assistant

Bedford, NH

This position is a blend of bookkeeping, office administration, and customer service. You will support the financial team by assisting with invoicing, data entry in NetSuite, vendor communication, and monthly financial reviews, while also maintaining a welcoming office environment and handling direct customer service responsibilities.

We are seeking a highly organized, reliable, and personable individual who can comfortably switch between financial tasks and front desk duties. The right candidate will demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

Financial Support & Bookkeeping

  • Gather and organize financial documentation for accountants and tax teams
  • Assist with categorizing transactions in the correct general ledger accounts
  • Enter invoices, credit memos, and payments accurately in NetSuite
  • Follow up with vendors and customers regarding accounts payable and receivables
  • Monitor inventory related financial entries in NetSuite
  • Collect and file W9 forms from vendors
  • Participate in monthly meetings with accountants for financial reviews
  • Maintain clear, legible, and accurate financial documentation

Administrative & Front Desk Support

  • Serve as a friendly and professional point of contact at the front desk
  • Answer and speak with customers on incoming phone calls, route calls as needed, and handle occasional walk-in visitors.
  • Maintain an organized and clean office reception area.
  • Provide general office and administrative assistance as needed
  • Assist in overseeing and updating internal systems related to vendor, partner, or policy compliance documentation as part of routine administrative responsibilities
  • Support other departments with clerical tasks as assigned

Desired Skills & Attributes

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping software, ideally NetSuite (preferred, not required).
  • Experience in bookkeeping or accounting support roles.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor for customer-facing tasks.
  • Proficiency with basic office tools (email, spreadsheets, phone systems).
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
  • Occasionally, move between departments.
