Calm & Relaxed Soft Chews

Our puppy likes these and happily takes them as a treat. I’m not quite sure yet how much of a calming effect they’re having, but she enjoys them and they’re easy to give. We’ll keep using them and see how she does over time.

My dog is a very nervous dog and we've tried different ways to try to calm him down. I jumped on the opportunity to try these calming chews in hopes they would help keep him calm during stressful situations.The directions state that one chew is appropriate for a 25 pound dog. Since my dog weighs 11 pounds, I had to give him half a chew. When I tried to break the chew in half, it crumbled into pieces. Because of the crumbling I cut it in half with a knife, which worked much better. My dog really likes them and even thinks of them as a treat!!I like that these are made in the USA and are produced in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facility. It also has the NASC (National Animal Supplement Council) seal of approval. I did not know the meanings of either of these certifications and had to look them up to see what they actually meant lol.Our dog seems to be fairly calm but we haven't had a hard rain recently, which is what causes him anxiety. There are extra ingredients (brewers yeast, flaxseed, etc) in these chews that benefit his health so I'm comfortable just giving him these on a daily basis and hope they also benefit him during bad weather.

I absolutely cannot win with my little canine friend. He has separation anxiety and I thought these might be helpful for when I have to leave him at home. He turned his nose up at these so I can't attest to how effective they are. There was nothing wrong with them that I could see or smell, no strange odors. Beyond his own taste preferences, ingredients include: Taurine, Valerian Root, Ginko Biloba (leaf), Glycine, Inositol, Chamomile Flower Extract, L-Theanine, L-Tryptophan, Ginger Root, Organic Ashwagandha Root, Thiamine, Magnesium (glycinate), Melatonin. Says it's Made in the U.S. and in a GMP facility. They're pretty pricey at just under $40 and you get 90 chews.

One of our Beagle pups has always had high anxieties and rarely stops alerting. It is impossible to take him anywhere since he barks at everything (cars, bikes, birds, shadows). With him, we don't need a doorbell. When our dog groomer told us that he was her loudest dog and the crew wore earplugs to wash and clip him, I looked for something that would take his particular edge off. I saw these Wholistic Pet Calming Chews and thought they might help. I showed his vet (who had also suggested something - anything - that would help calm him) and she approved of the list of ingredients. So, we tried them at yesterday's grooming appointment and - holy cow - what a difference! I gave him one chew just prior to leaving our house and he loved the taste. He sat in his car seat during the trip to town instead of racing from side to side. He still wasn't happy about his wash and fluff session but he grumbled instead of barking and fell asleep while waiting for his brother to finish. When we returned home, he walked to the front door, hopped up on the couch, and fell asleep. It was glorious!The ingredients include brewer's dried yeast and flaxseed oil; both of which are good for his skin and a number of herbs and vitamins including ginkgo biloba, chamomile, ashwagandha, and melatonin. He slept all night long and I appreciated it since, when he wants to go outside at 2 a.m., he wakes me up instead of my husband. He woke up calm and refreshed this morning. Since we had multiple deliveries and an electrician scheduled today, I gave him another chew in mid-morning. Again, he was much more calm and relaxed than normal (for him). Just for comparison, I also gave one to our older Beagle who is, by nature, a very chill dog. It wasn't as obvious for him since he is always beyond relaxed, but he also loved the taste and took an extra nap today. Picture attached of both dogs while the electrician was in the house. No barking and much napping.One thing that is important to me is that these chews are both manufactured in the United States of America and approved by the National Animal Supplement Council. I feel very comfortable giving them to my pups and it looks like we will finally be able to take the younger one with us on road trips without earplugs. I'm very happy with this product.

Just had our 3# hairless chihuahua spayed and she is home recovering in a surgi-snuggli onesie and is a bit uneasy about having to be constrained and in addition we are to restrain activity, so I gave her one quarter of a chew because she is so small and she liked it. The ingredients are pretty established as to their contribution of anxiety and stress reduction so it was a big win that she took it - hooray! Often, these medicinal herbal chews are not tolerated by her very well and I was pleased she accepted it and ate it. It was not gobbled down like a treat really, but she was diligent and pursued consuming it so I was happy, it is supposed to be peanut butter flavored, and she likes peanut butter so maybe that helped. Good to have and if she is ever rowdy at bedtime think this will be my go to offering. Happy to have it.
